Onerock, it not possible to make the 12 and go around the table 5 or 6 cushion for position with 5 O'clock English, and pocket the ball. In fact, it's difficult to do it with running English!

The shot is a difficult 3C position to keep the CB from going to long out of the corner!

BTW, can you post that diagram from ER's book, to compare? Or, a video of maybe you playing the shot?

I meant to say low left. 7 o'clock.

I was never able to execute the shot myself.

bill
i had mark video me today making the shot
and sent it to you in an email
i dont know how to upload a video
so maybe you can post it for me
i came above the ball on the foot rail
as it was easier for me to execute
going under the ball as you did with very little room was very delicate regarding how much draw necessary
too little draw i hit the foot rail first and hit the ball on the rail
alittle more and i hit the ball in the face
i did make it go under the ball like you once...
but my % went way up shooting with more draw to go above the ball

Larry videoed himself making this shot going, 'in front'
of the ball, instead of behind it!

The setup is a little different, but, He hit it GREAT!

No problem Larry, anytime.

BTW, your stroke looks pretty, 'pure' in the video!

The object ball was off the rail. I don't know many players who don't already know this shot. I thought the 12 was frozen to the rail and some fancy solution was in order.

Thanks anyway.

In my video, the ball is 1/8" off the rail.
