Default J. Brumback vs. R. Luat 2009 DCC Finals #1

John is up 1-0 in games and 4-3 this game, it's his shot. What would you do?

I can't remember what I did but I remember what I thought when he shot that shot.I thought man... what a nifty little shot that was.That was one of the smartest little shots I've had put on me.But yet so simple.I really had him In a trap too,when he did that.I think I would try to roll the 9 over there and try to tie It up with the 8,while putting the cball down on or close to the end rail.What would you do? John B.
PS:maybe I should stay out of these for awhile.(the ones with me In them)

Try to tie the balls up and leave him long. Ditto.

Sounds like a good idea John. I think many don't want to contradict you if you post early in a thread and so they don't post at all. It was much the same way when Artie and/or Incardona posted early in a one-pocket thread. Some don't want to contradict the player and others aren't comfortable until they see other's opinions. Fortunately I've never suffered from either malady .

john i agree with dennis
let others have enough rope
its tough to contradict people with your credentials
for teaching
you might want to comment on the weakness of some replies
before you give your opinion

think of yourself as the one we go to pilgrimage to hear the words of the LEARNED ONE
you and freddy

You'll have to wait at least until my next thread to tell us'all that . You hit it a little thin and left a shot leading to this thread http://onepocket.org/forum/showthread.php?t=5024

Straight back Skipper. If you miss it, it might go 2 rails and get safe.
Rod.
P.S. I make'em once in a while playing one pocket. (when it's a free shot )
