You can't be serious... you want us to guess what Raphael would do? :lol

OK, 4 at the 15 rail first (stripe on his long rail, whatever it is); CB drifts behind the 3 and 10. No, wait, that's what I would shoot. :p

Raphael might billiard the 11 off the 9 and sent CB up into that pack of balls on his long rail. Or play the 10 off the 3 with 7 tips of inside  or bank the 12 900 mph and stun CB forward behind 3 and 10.

If I could think of any more impossible shots, I'd name 'em. :heh

Another is the 5 rail first into the 15, drift the CB behind the 3/10
Or the 5 into the 14 softly, float whitey under the 2/8
Or just nudge the 5 into the open area and drop whitey under the 2/8, whatever the angle will allow.

I like Jeff's pick on the 5ball into the 15ball, if the angle's right.
I'd look at banking the 9ball as I think Raffy did. Firm hit and float the CB down.

Those are pretty good choices. I don't know if I could drag the CB over behind the 3/10 while making the 15.

As John said, one never knows WHAT Martinez will do. I would probably bank the 9 cross-corner and float the CB over to pick up the 14, etc.

Right on John..No one can predict what Raphael might attempt !..He has been know to shoot five railers, when he had an easy one railer !..He much prefers crowd pleasing "Wow" shots, over simple common sense maneuvers ! ..Don't make him a bad guy, just means he will never be a top tier one pocket player, even though he has the cue skills to be one !

I think we're experiencing differences in color vision. :)

I think the ball nearest Raphael's side pocket is the pink 4.

The 5-rail I see is on the pink-striped 12 nearest Efren's side pocket.

Your (Androd's) bank on the "9" is really on the pink-striped 12.

All but one of the shots you guys are calling are ones I mentioned, but we're calling the balls by different numbers. :p

The one I didn't think of I like: off the "5" (my 4) to drift behind the 2-8. I don't see what Efren could do from there other than some kind of broom-and-hope. :)

Oh, I misread "5 rail first into the 15, drift the CB behind the 3/10"

I read it as 5-rail the 15... Me dumb.

Really?:) OK, for thinking completely outside the box. Carom off the fifteen sending the fifteen towards the bottom rail and towards his pocket. Rafeal will apply his special sauce to the cue ball, powering two rails into the three, ten with all balls headed to his hole. The cue ball after the carom will drift up past Efrins side pocket behind the thirteen ball.
Just for the fun of it, would one of you set it up to see what happens?
What's wrong with the cross corner on the thirteen?
I see all kinds of shots to shoot. 90% of them I might shoot if my opponents name is not Reyes.:frus
You can cross corner the 13 rubbing it off the nine or try to make the nine with the cue ball coming to rest behind the 3,10. :heh
Ask Lenny, this is one of his feeds.:lol

I never play with the funky colored balls, so I forget the number value colors are different. :frus

Ok, it's the 4 ball I'm talking about, not the 5.
The 4 into the open area and nestle whitey behind the 2/8.
Sorry about that, couldn't tell the ball numbers!

I think it's the 4 ball, the op just labeled the balls.

I picked 3 shots using the 4 ball, and I would probably choose the one best suited to the angle fit. Execution for all three seem simply and all provide value.
The 4 into the rail in front of the striped ball and floating down behind the 3/10 provides offense and value while being easy to execute, provided the angle is correct.

I tthink that's my pick of the litter; for me, not as a guess about Raphael. Good call. At the table I might switch back to 4 off the rail into the 15.

Who could. I'm lodging a formal complaint with Triple L Larry. :lol

(Hey Larry, keep em' comin' and thanks.)

It's going to be hard to come up with a better shot then this one, yes dropping between the 2ball and 8ball would be a spot I wouldn't want to be in. I believe you can shoot the 4ball into the 14ball and position the 14ball closer to your pocket and float the cue ball between the 4 and 8ball. Now that's a tough position for anyone to escape from.
