I was watching the rerun of the Shannon/Efren hot seat match.

Fast forward to approx 34 mins, 30 secs.....Shannon is attempting to make the 14 ball and draw back about 18".

He appears to miscue and only draws approx 4" leaving no shot.

In looking closer I believe the drawing cueball barely, just barely double hits his cue on the way back, thereby slowing down whitey to make it look like he miscued.

Whaddya think?....am I seeing things?

Obviously no ref could be expected to catch this, although I do believe that Shannon realized it. Perhaps not, it is a tough call.

Either way, Efren goes on to win, so you could argue that pool karma prevailed.

Bernie, I think your right about it but the shot was too fast for the red or Efren to see I am sure.
