My usual practice routine: toss 'em & run 'em (in rotation).

For one pocket: toss 'em & run 'em into the same pocket.

heres a little game i invented to get a person better at 9 ball--it is difficult but it works wonders, first toss out 1 ball and the cb randomly..... wherever they end up, you have to make the ball on the first try, if you do that, toss out two balls and the cb randomly, and run those two--then do the same with 3 balls..... if u fail, u must go back and start all over with one ball.....once you get to 4 balls and up, toss them all out randomly but now you get ball in hand--then do it with 5 balls, 6,7,8, and finally a full rack...... any miss and u have to start over....... get through the whole thing and congratulations on a job well done.......yes its kind of weird but it gets results......a well known game is to play 9 ball with the only way u can win is to 3 foul your opponent--not easy to do......

Pressure Billiards & Café - on the north side of Chicago (Rogers Park). Nice sports bar in the other room - even has decent cooked food (burgers, chicken wings, etc.). Voted Best Billiards in Chicago a couple of times.

No action, though... gotta go to the grungy joints for that.
