he missed and left scott here
scott ran 9 from here to stay in the match ( for now.. we all know he eventually got beat by alex)

i posted the 10-6-5 combo in the other thread ,shoot combo, drawing cb to side rail ending up frozen to 1 and 14--i didnt like alex shot and for my run out after alex missed, i would prob make 6 then pick off all those balls down below--or you might shoot the combo and pick off those 4 or 5 balls up, then float down for the rest i guess........

from my perspective, the three ball combo has to be hit too hard to control the cue.

My shot also except QB hitting the diamond above the pocket and drifting towards the two balls at the foot rail

I like the three ball combo, but with emphasis on leaving cb on the end rail and moving balls to my side. Not necessarily trying to make it.

Looks like only the 14 goes clean down low. I would play the 10-8 and get the balls up top before I dropped down to the tangle at the bottom.

Billy (Island Drive) Meecham got it right. Kiss offs aren't as dead as one would think they are. Alex went for the home run and lost the game. He didn't have to shoot that ball. Other good options were available. The only reason I think he did is his superior confidence that he would beat Scott at that time.
