I'm worried about bumping the six if I'm trying to go four rails for shape

If not to make it ...getting in pocket area. Would leave cue on top rail near his pocket.

Now to the shot. Since you havent missed a shot all night, cut the fifteen. But how much are the stakes? How much are you behind, ahead? Banking the 8 is probably the safest shot. Banking the six is the most gratifying for the rail birds.
I'd cut the 15 every time. The 8 bank looks kissy because I'd need inside english to control whitey.

Did you fire the straight back on the six and come three/four rails for shape? If so I need weight, lol.

If (1) I wasn't confident about making the cut while holding up the cueball with some inside and (2) I needed more than 2 balls, that's my shot!

Since I only need 2, I would cut the 15 if I thought I could shape for the 8, but otherwise bank the 8.

I'm pretty sure your opponent would want you to shoot anything but the 15.

albeit I am a ducker mostly...

No way I am banking the 6...I am not putting more balls in play for him

I would have to look at the 15 to see where I with my limited skill could leave the cue ball.

I probable would bank the 8 though...not necessarily to make it but to force him to move it...

Cue ball control is a must on whatever you shot...

Mitch what happened last week, yesterday, or your last shot is water under the bridge. Stop looking at this table with negative thoughts in your mind.

Make your 2 balls here and collect.
