i think this is from 1967??(7th annual on cover)

Yes, 1967. Because the first year was 1961, the 7th annual was '67 and likewise with the other years, which makes it extra easy to convert the nth annual to the year :)

Incidentally, the first year 1961, when they had only One Pocket, there was no program, but there were programs every year after that. For '62 and '63 the programs were simpler -- no color and basically a single fold down the middle (but a little larger in size). Starting in '64 they used the smaller multi-page format with color on the outside covers.

Cokes

To describe Cokes as 'seasoned' might be a bit of an understatement.

:(When you say old referring to johnston city, it makes me feel old. I may be the last of the johnston city champions living today. My old nemisis Ronnie Allen recently passed away, I had played him in the all around in 1970 and was deeply saddened when hearing of his passing.I may answer some questions for you about the last Jansco tournaments.

Thankfully, you are very wrong about this belief.

There are still a few around and should be for awhile.

I count these former Johnston City champions still living:
Rempe
Marino*
DiLiberto*
J Fusco
Incardona
Kelly
'Squirrel' Carpenter
and Thompson*

*all-around champs

I am not sure, but did Joe Russo die relatively recently?

Thanks Steve,

Yours looks better so now you have your work cut out for you to do the Stardust Tournaments, DCC and Tunica like that.

Then they should be on the home menu somewhere.
