What gave it away. Looks like there's 20 balls on the table.

Boy is that ever a perfect endorsement for some variation on "Grady's Rule" lol. Yep, all 15 balls, so no "protecting a lead" justification either.

Mike, did you (or anyone else) get to watch how it developed? I must have gone to bed by then... or to sleep, anyway lol

That was this afternoon Steve. Funny, Mike. I took a picture around the same time. Only one word for that and itís agony lol. Unless youíre JJ playing DO. Then itís a recipe for getting the Cheese.

JJ flat out moved Dennis to win this epic hill hill game and move into the final 8 players.

Ask JJ if he thinks the "Grady's Rule" is a good idea lol

Like watching paint dry, Steve. Maybe not quite. One Pocket players would definitely appreciate it, but we're only one drop in the ocean.

This was today....I didn't see the ending, but within about 15 minutes the table was back to looking like a regular game. I believe it was a one loss side match and JJ made it to the next round.

I don't believe I've ever seen all 15 in an up table wedge! But JJ was obviously not going to get into a shootin' match with D.O. He was determined to use his experience in order to out move the little feller. And he did! Congrats, JJ.

What saved this game from a spectatorship standpoint are the abilities of both players to put balls back into play in creative and shrewdly aggressive ways. Neither player was willing to turn the game into a 4-5 hour wedge battle.
