Knock the 15 away and bring the cue ball back off the long rail to pocket the other stripe in your hole

I like kicking the 15 soft too. If the score was different and if I felt like I needed a more aggresive shot, it looks like its laying perfect to three rail the 7 to my pocket and draw the cue ball straight back to end up behind the 15 off of one rail.

Plus I think the 1-ball looks like it would probably be in the way of a three-railer, and you could instead easily knock another ball toward the wrong pocket

For me it is hard to entertain anything but the 15-ball -- either the soft kick or just straight into it to drive it away, leaving the cue ball right there

If I was knocking the 15 away, I would want to only go so far as around my own side pocket -- not all the way up table.

depending on what the stakes are, I may try to bank the 15 cross corner into the other stripe both balls towards my pocket and bring the CB up into the 5 and if i get lucky and make the stripe I have the 2 and more to shoot next.

Can't tell what angle there is,but it K can hit the 15 thin enough I like floating in between the rail and the 5 to nudge the stripe to shoot the 5 next
