I can see light behind the cue ball so it might not be too tough to get there. Hard to say without better eyeballs on it...lol

I saw the pic and saw the exact same thing including the butt of the cue in my mind.

Well Chip decided to try to send the cue ball through the 14 to get behind those balls by Scott's pocket. I thought it was notable that he clearly went through rather than skimming off the edge -- maybe there was not room to skim off the edge, or maybe he was hopping to bounce the 14 over to his own side. The 14 nipped the 2 ball and stayed on Scott's side, but Chip just did get a bit behind those balls to stay alive and continue to battle his way out of Scott's break.

This is how Chip left it:
From this position I would seriously consider sending the cue ball two rails out of the top left corner and rolling into the left side of the stack with an intentional foul. Let's see what Chip does from there!
