I like it!!!! It looks like you have points based on $$. I believe at DCC for the all around, the points are based on the number of entries. I am just curious -- money sure seems like a simple way to go.

It's the most objective way. The money drives the quality of fields and any subjective assigning of value to a tournament would be met with arguments.

Two tournaments are being played in the same week. How does that compute? You have one with many players and one with 16 players. Size of field should carry some weight, open tournaments compared to invitation. What’s the formula and what’s the prize?

There is no invitation. Both are open tournaments. Both have a limit. One is 16, one is 48. In 2016, the US Open had 16 players. Last year, the US Open cancelled its December event. He hasn't shared how many have registered but Scotty Townsend says their one pocket and nine ball is full. (16 players for one pocket, 128 players for 9 ball).

My mistake. I thought I read somewhere that it was an invitational tournament, but thanks for clearing it up for me.

Thanks Joe but I have a question.

If Justin Hall got 17,000 points for Buffallos win, why does Tony only get 3200 points for his west coast win? Is it one point for every dollar won?
