I solved that in collaboration with his WEI-highness, Dennis, a while back, KOUDave. The answer is: the WEI table is an 8 footer (touted as a 9 footer).

Looking at things in two dimensions is quite a bit different from looking at them in three dimensions. Or even four or five dimensions.:)

tHANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH FOR CLARIFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFYING THAT DEEK .............. I have experienced ALL the dimensions but one.

I have been called one dimensional before ..... wonder if the b- was right?

While the wei is ahead of what ever is in second place for diagraming (napkins, matchbook covers, bail bondsmen's bizz cards, beer coasters) it does leave something to be desired.

Perhaps they could have a 4 1/2 x 9, a 5 x 10, and a six by twelve snooker. Wonder if the billiard table is the same way .......

Now I am in bizz...... unlike SOME myopic folks on here I like things to make geometric sense ... and this goes a long way towards that end. You are a prince.

I will now be able to beat the snot out of all of 'em !

12.5 in = (2.25in x 5.5 balls)

Dave,

You know what would be really nice? If you asked CaliRed how to use a normal sized WEI table. When we use your "small one" or anyone elses "small one" it prevents us from using the "back arrow" on our browser.

Thanks a ton.

This is what we get when we call up the WEI from the "Click Here to Use the New WEI Table" link above.

Here's what I'm getting. I don't see much difference between this layout and Dave's. Are the pool balls supposedly different sizes on the 9 and 8-footers? ~Doc

Doc, if you open the window with your table and balls in it, and click on BW (black & white) and the grid, you will see that you have the balls overlapping. You can't tell as well with the colors. That is why 5.5 balls appear to fit between those 2 diamonds. Spread them so that they don't overlap and you can only get 5 balls in, which is smaller than a nine fotter at 5.5 balls OR the ball are 2.5" in diameter.
