This is an "old" new post, from the past. Cornbread is playing in a tournament in 1993 and it's his shot to pocket 'A'. What would you do?

I think I'd shoot the 3 with a lot of speed towards the rail near the 1 and kick it from behind, while stunning the cue up table (if there's that angle). Not much to do offensively unless you're thinking about banking the 12 and drawing behind the 15 and 14, which I don't care for because if you don't make it you're in trouble. What did Cornbread do?

Two rail the 15 and hide the cue ball behind the 14.

I think this would be one of the shots I would look at too. With this shot, you might take the 1 out of play, and might take the 3 out of play. I wouldn't do anything with the 15 because I would be concerned about putting an extra ball into play at a time when my opponent is so likely to get some kind of shot to run a few balls.

johns shot is the easiest to do and lets you get three or four balls if you make it or hang it up and hook him.

Cornbread probably banked the 3 cross-corner, then shot the 6, 12, etc.

Dennis will show us the solution just as soon as he figures out how to travel through the new maze to post the Wei.:D

yeah, I liked this shot when it was posted before as you did. After looking more closely it's not possible to hit enough of the 15 ball for this shot, :( but would be a good shot if their was room. :)

That damn thing is driving me nuts. I'm too old to learn something new again:) . I'll need to have a few days off before I can figure it out.

Now that I can edit a WEI table again here is the layout that I originally posted, minus the first page. This is Red's shot.
