I would have shot the 5 ball and stopped CB right there behind the 8. Good leave and good chance to make a ball moving the 4 toward the pocket.

I believe the kick shot on the eleven was the correct shot. Too much upside. Sometimes you have to be aggressive and live with the results.

Looks like he hooked himself even if he made the 11.

The kick on the 11 was a poor shot selection imo... to tough as it laid, it required an exact hit in order to pocket the 11, which as can clearly be seen, was difficult, even with the measure technique he used...

No question Doc’s option of coming off the 1 ball and falling behind the 6 ball would have been a much better choice... It’s difficult to see exactly from the one screen shot, but it looks like you could shoot the 1 into the foot rail hitting it about 3/4 full on the left side and fall to long rail and settle nicely behind the 6 for the coup de grace...
