Dear Santa, here is my wish list for the 2019 Derby....these are in no particular order.

Chicago Mike
Chris
Mitch
Bruce
Jim
Billy

Tks Santa.

Ps...Can I also get a easier draw for the tournament:heh

Solid list....I’ll do my best to accommodate. I’d better start practicing again. I know when you catch your gear I’ll be in trouble!

As always, I will be looking to tango!

I am glad to hear there are a couple of options in Louisville for places to play / match up instead of the 1 or 2 tables we may be able to grab in the action room at the casino.

Dont get me wrong, Ill be there as well donating in the king of the table but maybe once or twice we can go over and have some sessions!

looking forward to it!

kybanks I know I owe you a game so after you take Mitch's money maybe I can give you some of mine... :) (just kidding Mitch buddy, will be good to see you again!)
Where are the tables in Louisville that you are referencing?

The 3 that crabbcat mentioned:

Diamond Pub & Billiards
(looks like they have 2 locations and here is one of them):
http://diamondpubandbilliards.com/wp/highlands/

Louisville Billiard Club
https://www.facebook.com/LouisvilleBilliardsClub/

Private Club

Not sure what the priv club is but it appears the other 2 both have live music so not sure how much concentration there will be lol, but may be options!

Also, not sure of one or both have any 9 footers

Thank you -- I wonder if Truman does banks tourneys at any of them, or where the former Bankshot players are going these days??

I know there is a very upscale private billiards club somewhere in Louisville -- mr3cushion could probably chime in -- but I'm not sure how accessible it would be anyway.

The private club.. Pool Club Louisville..is owned by Alan and Jason S. the well known stake horses. I think it's a membership type deal. It's the one Greg goes to. As for the others I'll most likely be up there for a short visit over Christmas and do a scouting trip with my nephews. I know I was warned by them not to go to one as it has a pretty rough crowd.... sounds like that's the one we want...lol. As far as I know Truman doesnt do bank tournaments anymore as far as I know as there is no place with enough tables.

I know the diamond pub and billiards club has 2 9 fts. The Louisville billiard club has only bar tables, from what I've been told.

There are several that have very similar names. It gets confusing... if I get up there I'll check them out.

The diamond billiards has 2 9 fts. I know that for sure because I have been there. That's also been 3 years ago so it may have changed since then.

I just checked with him to be sure of the name, the one by his house is called the Billiard Club Louisville. I know they have at least 2 in there when I stuck my nose in the door last year. I was going back that night but never made it.
He said Diamond Billiards on Bardstown road has the 9 fters but hes not sure about their other location

Okay booked and I arrive on the 24th and drive out the 4th. Obviously when not playing in the tournament I want to match up with as many members as possible.

One caveat is that I have pretty much quit libations while playing pool, seems to have helped me improve this year. I will have a jack and coke after playing though for those who care to imbibe instead of ice cream (lol).

Just got the nod from my wife. I will be there from 1/25 - 2/1. Looking forward to shooting the bull with everyone and matching up with all comers(unless they are above 425 Fargo rating), LOL.

See you there.:D
