I just returned from a really nice trip and had the chance to play an older gentleman that runs the billiards portion of Upstream Brewery and Billiards. It was a really nice place, they had 11 Brunswick older style tables with Simonis 860 and drop pockets. The pockets were rather generous, with the rails nice and fast but very true. We played several games of one pocket with me coming out loser, of course. I enjoyed my afternoon of play nonetheless and look forward to maybe returning to Omaha. It is definitely a college drinking type of place, not so much a pool room. The gentleman named Bob that I played was a delight and a lot of fun to talk with and shoot with. I really had a nice time. If you are ever in Omaha and looking to bang a few balls around and drink some very good microbrew beer, then I would recommend this place, and no, I didn't do any beer sampling HA HA.
