OK, possums. How will you match up with Nick Varner. Hurry up and give me your true thoughts and ideas because he will be in Ocala Monday night with Johnny Archer and I may just get the chance to play him. I need some input.

A lot. He still plays jam up. Be prepared for torture. You will not get a shot and he simply doesn't miss on offense. Make sure and shape and tap your tip - you'll shooting off the rail or over a ball perpetually.

A fair game might be damaging to one's pride, so just plan on losing the money and take what you can get.

Here's what I know: I play Darrell Stites, who gives me 9-7 for a competitive game. Nick plays him with a sizeable spot, maybe 9-6 or better, and Darrell doesn't shoot at his pocket much. From what I can tell, Mitch Brown and I are fairly close, with him maybe shooting a ball better than me. It is my understanding that you have played Mitch, so there is your six or so degrees of seperation, for what it is worth.

Let us know.

What was that game Artie came up with? All the breaks, 2 picks, first shot after the break, and the first ball he makes in his hole? Is that it?

I am playing Darryl tomorrow night so I will ask him, but you might be more likely to get a regularly handicapped game versus prop game - we just don't play them much around here.

No hiding behind screen names and heroic electronic shots at Dduuuuurrrrbyyyy. Jk, so, depending on who you believe, you need either 12-1 or 13-1 on your break and about 12-0 on his break (when it is his break he just pays you and let's you break). It's like 2:1 on the money in camo.

Like I said, don't worry about the exact line (you probably wouldn't get it, anyhow). Calculate how much it is worth to play one of the best and most decorated players alive and fire away. Maybe even consider a lesson?

A 66 yr. old vision challenged guy (average making of spot shots: 4 out of every 10  :( ), has no business playing straight-shootin', in-their-prime, 35-42 yr. old guys even...but the Ghost is gonna get out of line and give it a try  against these two hustlers: straightback and the tank...

Or perhaps another interpretation.

Dan: "Hey, Mitch, we've each only been playing the game for a few years now. Do you think we really have any business playing a Chicago legend even?

Mitch: "Please don't bother me while I'm trying on women's clothing."

Dan: "Sorry. Anyhow, what are we doing? Donating? This guy's got a nickname, for chrissakes!"

Mitch: "Be honest - how does this look on me?"

Dan: "Please don't wear that to the Derby."

I'm gonna tell Mitch not to pay any attention to you. He can wear anything he wants to the Derby. I always tell him the same thing I tell my wife: "Darlin', you look lovely in anything." ;)

Hahahahah! Funny stuff. I generally never play partner games but may consider this for the fun. 9-7 we're all yours Ghostie. That's the "1p.com sponsored player spot". Anything less would embarrass your pride too much I'm sure..... And we wouldn't want to do that. 😉

"Mitch, you look fine in that. Seriously. Now about Ghost. We can't beat him 9-7 individually, what makes you think we can win arguing over what shot to shoot? Come to think of it, those heels do NOT go with that evening dress."

"you make a good point, Danny boy. When you get finished chasing that ambulance, why don't you propose a serious line and we'll do this. Oh and can you zip this up?"

Ocala, I'm scheduled to be there Jan 30 for a few days.

I'll take my standard 10/7 and have some fun

Oooooooo, you gave me a chill (but you still don't get the chiffon.)

I will still lend you enough money for breakfast after you play Ghost.
