So a guy in my poolroom tonight told me he booked an extra room at the derby which he no longer needs. He told me it has two beds and is 150 a night. Just putting it out there in case anybody was still looking for a room at the casino. If anyone wants, PM me and I will give you his name and number.

I spent the whole day trying to find someone to share a room at the Best Western down the street. It’s because I’m a degenerate Pool player that I would rather be there in Louisville gambling with Mitch, Col Billie, and Chicago Mike than taking care of business at home. Not like nothing is happening here anyway. Selling one house, buying a house, getting our house ready to sell, buying a commercial building, along with the everyday stuff, nope forget it. Pool is more important. This one time in life, however, I’m going to make a rational, break my heart decision, I’m staying home. Yuk. Have fun Mitch, I hate all of youse.:frus:frus

Platis was in the room playing.. He was playing an older guy and then played the good card player John Robert Bellande some one pocket 2k entry fee per game.. weak... Another interesting match was Eric Durbin playing a heavy set black guy named J.T. Jagoe. Durbin was giving J.T. 9-8 and also playing three and stop... Five hundred per game entry fee.. Durbin pulls up.. Did not like it.. Filler just lost a ten ball set.. It took Alcano to beat him.. 21-19.. The twenty year old Filler is something... Should be the best in the world soon...

I still can't figure out how Harry broke even with Jean-Robert.. It looked like J.R. was playing well and Harry well below his former self. If I didn't think it was contrary to his style, I'd suspect that Harry's play implied some future plans. J.R. is one of the few people in the world from whom he might be able to win a couple of hunnert-t'ousands, if he can win at all.

I like Filler but he played terrible (for him.) Amazing for a 20-year-old. Looks to me like he kicks as well as Efren. That table was brutal for 10-ball breaks.

IkR, Mitch.. Has anyone done more to boost promote help out one pocket players than Platis?? I was delighted to see lots of one pocket matches in the Action Room.. Another very interesting deal was Josh Roberts giving lil John Macias 8-5.. I thought John would shoot him down fast.. Didn't happen.. They had won about 10 each and I left to go somewhere.

IkR John.. I agree with all you said.. Did you see tonight.. Filler beat him and then they turned off the stream.. Wow.. never thought I would enjoy a ten ball match so much.. What a bargain stream this has been..I think Filler won 25-22 or close to that. He is really something.

Glad to see Lil John in the grease. He's been out of the scene for several years. As you know, he's from Hattiesburg, Miss., but he may live in Louisiana now.

I don't know if he's in the 1P event or not. His name is not in the first flight, but perhaps he's in the second; although he may have just made the trip for some action.

I tried to get ahold of my son to tell him to see if he could get some action betting on Filler tonight. Ronnie played poorly this match, especially near the end, where they both got a little weak.

I don't think I like Filler's attitude, but some of the toughest competitors are people who think that anything that goes wrong are God trying to screw them out of their just rewards.
