i have never played it
it was mentioned to me as an option
its closer to real onepocket compared to "short rack " 9 balls onepocket
it should take less time
could be done on day 1or 2
instead of rr or chips
5/5 is a tie
your thoughts appreciated

Mehhh, when i go shooting I don’t want a couple of targets, I want a lot of them. Same feeling on short rack vs full....put all them out there.

I think using 11 balls is a better game. Put the 11th ball in the middle of the back row. It really doesn't change the game that much, except to shorten it.

Has anyone tried it on a 3 1/2 X 7 Diamond with pro cut pockets?
Yes, I have. The game is different because there are a lot more clusters. But it's still a tough game, and a decent substitute when there are no 9-footers available. Using 11 balls might be better. And I've never tried it on a Valley. Probably wouldn't be as good.

At one point Greg was considering starting a 1P league for rooms that had Diamond bar boxes only. But I don't imagine anything ever came of it.

I proposed 10 ball one pocket years ago.

I called it Phoenix or PHX one pocket.

The 10 ball is racked in the usual place and is worth 2 Points.

Everything is the same as normal one pocket.

No ties.

Good game to use in tournaments.

right off the bat, there can't be a tie!
between equal players there would be tie like every 3 games. :frus

First guy to make 5 balls, game over!
At least I would think the break would be similar.

I’ve frozen an 11th ball behind the rack and played on a barbox(blasphemy) and also in a 4x8 I’ve used 13 or 11 balls to lure 9 ball players to play. With 9 balls I have played one hole with a golf ball, whole key is playing 2-3 rail shapes every shot.

I've seen 11 ball one pocket on the big table. They racked up nine ball with the one on the spot. The 10 ball went in the middle of the table and the 11 ball went on the head spot. On the break you can only hit the pack of nine. Same rules as regular one pocket
