Nick Varner showed up at our pool room today to visit with Marshall Carpenter and tell amazing stories about the old days. Amazing legends both of them.

Very nice picture of both legendary guys. Marshall is like the "Energizer Bunny". He's taken care of his health all his life, and it's paying off in his later years!

Agreed! When I'm 89 I hope to hell I can even see a pool cue, much less walk around a table and shoot 1P. Marshall is doing pretty well right now, he had a fall about 6 months ago and has mostly recovered. He's playing about an hour every other day right now and getting back into action.:D
