Towards the end of the game I can't believe Shane didn't bank the 7 instead of the 8. The 7 was a free bank to draw behind the 2. The 8 had no chance and allowed Tony to bank the 1. Critical error that sealed his fate.

they are both great players.... now with that being said, this was not world class one pocket..... i saw shane miss a easy bih shot that would have started a 6 and out run--saw lots of really bad safes and tactical errors...... nice that it was free, but not great op.....

rememeber they started playing at around 10 the night before
i dont think i could make a ball after being up that long

i woke up at 6 am EST and the game score was 8/7 shane
then 8/8 the 9/8 shane then 9/9 then hill game
lots of drama and shots made under pressure

Tony wins 8-6 this time. Was down 7/6 in his hill game and Hit a monster tight straight back bank to get to 7/7. Then a long rail cross corner to get the cheese. He looked very comfortable.
