Default Best one pocket tournament 2019

If you were to attend the best 1p tournament in 2019 which one would it be and why. I enjoy the Derby, but am unfamiliar with other tournaments that might be worth checking out for next year.

Default Best One Pocket Tournament 2019?

This year, I was able to attend the West Coast Swing at California Billiards in Fremont, CA. It was great. They will also be having it at Scott Frost's room in Phoenix and at Hard Times in Sacramento. You'll be able to see top notch one pocket at any of these venues.

If I were to pick one other than DCC - I'd have to say Buffalo's in New Orleans. He does I think 2 big entry ones a year if I'm remembering right.

How's the cigarette smoke compared to Bogies in Houston?

I choose Buffalo's also.

20 ft. ceilings and good air-moving equipment.

Buffalos starts the Thursday before Memorial day weekend every year. 16 man one pocket field, $2,000 entry, $10,000 added. What makes Buffalo's so good is that there is action every night on top of the great field of champions. The place is open 24 hours a day, and when I tell you that they have action 24-7 the whole week of the tournament, I am not embellishing.

Past Champions Second Calcutta
2015: Alex Pagulayan Scott Frost $49,800
2016: Tony Chohan Danny Smith $59,400
2017: Dennis Orcullo Chip Compton $51,500
2018: Justin Hall Tony Chohan $52,600

Buffalo's has a kitchen and while smoking is allowed, the ceilings are 25 feet high with good ventilation. VIP seating for the whole week cost $100. And if you like, there is also a bar table 9 ball event on the weekends that is open to all.

I would like to try the US Open some year myself...

Buffalo's sounds great but I cant go to a one pocket tournament I don't play in and no way I'm shelling out $2k or even $1k for entry.
