I lived in Peoria for about 6 - 8 months in 95. only place to find a pool game (bar box) was a place called the "judge's chambers" downtown - foosball was better action. there was a place in west Peoria that had a small room but it was full of white trash pukes. this place they are playing at must be a new place or the old joint that has been re-done.

stayed many times at the super 8 there and at the casino motel. if the casino is still there, hope Justin is staying at the super 8. ;)

(would like to see him win.....)

I was out on the road framing a kit house there in the dead of winter back in 1973 or 74. There was a pretty cool newer place called the Coliseum. Had live music and pool. I can still remember me driving my VW hatchback and it was so cold you had to scrape the ice from your breath off the inside of the wind shield while you were driving....lol

I like Busty in 1P, but Justin tough in 10B and third day of long match. Looking forward to Varner's comments also.

Thanks for the stats. Ive always wondered if you could apply analytic evidence like Billy Beane did with the Oakland A's to determine outcome.
How can a lesser player beat a better player if he applied certain choices. For example defensive abilities versus speed and power.
Like if getting the first shot to the hole can be advantageous to winning the game in a long series. Like a baseball player who is not a great hitter but can always contact the ball wearing down the pitcher to get that walk to first. In getting that first base most of the time is it likely to say the odds are on your side to win.
A larger statistical study would have to be in effect to get some clear results. A stat like within an inning how many times was it a safety play vs a shot making one.
I felt Bustamante played great on all fronts. Of course his shooting game is what won it for him. He came with some amazing outs with Bergman needing one ball. But did he wear Bergman down with his moving game as well? The safes that Busty applied when he was locked up was as good as his run outs. Bergman seemed to lose his strength, which is his firepower, in the long game. Busty was a perfect example of great all around one pocket playing. Of course because of Efren and the high standards he established one might not think so. But Busty plays within himself and has a style all his own.
