I've been putting on a 1P league in my area and it's coming down to me & the local favorite. Anyway, I hit what I thought was the most shrude & well-played shots of my life and it wasn't good enough!

Here's what happened...

I hit the shot perfectly although the ball did not go. I accomplished my secondary goal of not jarring open the 6/8.

I was confident I had put my opponent in absolute JAIL, when he turned around and pulled off a 1-in-a-million acrobatic shot to get right back out of it.

On his next shot, my opponent made the 1, scratching behind it, to put it on the spot with another ball. He effectively eliminated my superior position for the cost of one ball.

Well thats just amazing...but did he have one foot touching the floor? When you say climbing, it sounds like he was on top of the table. The reason I say this is because where we play and I believe most tourney's, you must have one foot touching the floor...maybe you could have got off on a technicality:D XOXO

He did have 1 foot on the floor, but can you imagine yourself stretching over the table to hit that shot? I tried later & I couldn't do it. Sure, he had his hip up on the table, but imagine reaching for that CB next time you are at the table. It was incredibly acrobatic and a one-in-a-million stroke.
