What a nice event this is shaping up to be.

I suspect you posted on the wrong thread, Jerry.

Buffalo had this tourney last year and it was a great success. There was also a bar table 9 ball tournament in conjunction that drew almost 100 players (I think) and was won by Shane McMinn.

Player auction kicked ass in both divisions.

Buffalo's would be hard to beat if gambling is what revs your engine.

BRLongArm (Joe Long) was a major sponsor of the event last year.

Is this a non smoking event/establishment?

I heard they still allow smoking in New Orleans.

I didn't know it was held last year. Still a good event anyway. Thx for the update.

I see I misunderstood your misunderstanding. :)

I thought you semi-blanked (rather than me) and thought it was the Senior Tourney thread.

Anyway, you are right and BOTH of those are shaping up well.

Joe, did y'all decide not to have a satellite event this year-- the prize being the $2K entry into the main tournament? He could have it the weekend before: $100 entry, 20 players; or more if you wanted.

Sounds like another first rate event!

Doc,

They are have a big eight ball event the week before instead of the qualifier. The interest in the event is so great, there is a competition to get one of the coveted 16 spots. We felt we should leave them all open to the pros.

That makes sense, Joe. We'll look forward to seeing you over there.
