Dennis 'Denny' Searcy

Dennis L. Searcy
“Denny”

Mr. Searcy, 59, passed away Friday, April 14, 2006 at Carolinas Medical Center after a long and hard fought battle with kidney failure.

Denny was born November 1, 1946 in Gadsden, AL to the late Marjorie M. and William H. Searcy.

Denny spent his adult life as an avid professional billiards tournament player. He will be remembered by thousands of friends, competitors and fans as a world class champion nine ball player. His championships spanning a 30 year career are too numerous to mention. Denny will be always remembered for his low key, even temperament, his honesty as well
as his impeccable integrity, his kindness and his sincerity.

Denny is also survived by Ann Wilkins, his longtime-loving companion, caretaker; and best friend, of Charlotte, NC.

A celebration of Mr. Searcy's life will take place on Wednesday, April 19th from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at
Carolina Funeral Service & Cremation Center, 5505 Monroe Rd, Charlotte with Reverend Buddy . Pigg officiating.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Metrolina Kidney Center, 928 Baxter St. Charlotte, NC 28204 or the charity of your choice.
