This morning I talked to a friend of mine who's a regular at Chris's Billiards. He said there's been a pretty good amount of action there in recent weeks. Last weekend there was a $1000 added 8ball tournament. Ike Runnels and some player from Indiana (don't know the name) split 1st place. I like watching that Ike play, he's getting up there in age a little bit but still plays all games real strong.

And that Ike is always in action. My buddy said that Ike played Chris Gentile twice in the past week for $100 a game, with each of them coming out ahead one of those times. He also said that yesterday aft. and evening Ike was playing our One Pocket Ghost again for many hours. Also Shane V.B. was in there a few weeks ago playing a couple of the regulars 9ball and one pocket. Haven't been there for awhile, I'm gonna take a ride down there one of these weekends. I love that old poolroom.
