I expect it to be much closer today. Tony just finished playing SVB on the Diamond and Dennis played on Gold Crowns all week.
If it all works for Tony today like it did yesterday, Dennis might be in a hole he can't get out of.
If anyone can rattle Dennis it is Tony. I hope he keeps it up. We watched it at Hard Times and since he is a homeboy who played out of there, we had a nice crowd rooting him in.
What occurred during the days preceding the "Big One" is often referred to in financial markets as "herding". Whenever there's consensus on one particular thing, the opposite thing usually happens. It's "Crowd Psychology" at work: "Joe Schmo is a 1P specialist, and he says Dennis has the upper hand. He knows more than me, so I'm gonna pick Dennis."
It almost never fails!
Now it seems the current consensus is on Dennis regrouping and making a comeback. Here's what I believe: I don't think Dennis does ANYTHING better than Tony. Nothing. And I'll go as far as to say that Tony knows the game better, moves better, and banks better. I'll call the shot making a draw.
I don't think Tony is a good as you say only because of the dedication Dennis has put into his game to become one of the top one pocket and all around players. When I see Tony fighting tooth and nail for every shot, every game, every day, then I will agree that Tony is one of the top players. I think he has all the tools, its his mental toughness in pool. I hope he gets there, Im rooting for him.

Day one goes to Tony, as nearly everything he tried worked to perfection. When those wingdingers go in, he looks like a genius. When they don't, it's just a sell out against the best ball striker in one pocket. Our collective experience in one pocket points to them not going in on a regular basis and Tony will likely be taxed for recklessness.
Day 2 will tell the tale.

Maybe I misunderstood the shot, but it literally looked like he was trying to bank a ball and make it off the stack and bet the game he'd make it, to open em up and run out.
Well the score is 20-14 Tony.
Anybody still think Dennis is gonna win?
It's by no means out of reach.
If anyone can come back it's Dennis.
Tony had several chances to close yesterday at 20-10 and missed regular shots. I think Dennis is ready to pounce on T-Rex the next two days. In the end I don't think there will be more than 2 or 3 game split

Today is moving day. I believe we will go into day 4 very close. Tony's clearing shots towards DO's hole are awesome and he sees them rather quickly. Jay
Yeah I feel like this has been a big difference in the match. Do tries to act like it's not bothering him but he's getting shaken in these spots where he thinks he's gonna get a shot then all the sudden the tables are reversed... balls cleared and now a ball in front of tony hole. Even the second game I think it was where tony was jacked up and like half jumped over a ball and knocked three or so out of Dennis hole, just total heartbreaker.
