I have pocket A and need one. It's my shot. I lost the game here on a kind of fluke, but later realized I shot the wrong shot. Lets have some ideas on what to shoot. I had been way behind and made a lot of tough shots to get back in the lead. :p

Looks to me that I would play off the 13 ball and carom in the ten and expect to scratch at the same time. The most important thing to me would be to be sure to take the 13 ball past the line into the kitchen. The way they are sitting the scratch is not automatic but making the ten is.

If I don't scratch, we need one apiece with the 13 ball up table on my side. If I do scratch we both need two.

Slow rolling to just pocket his ten is dangerous if it rolls off a bit you might give up a shot on the 13 ball.

I don't like the two railer on the 13 ball while pocketing the ten. Too many things to go wrong.

I have to agree 100% with your thought process here Frank. The shot you prefer and the reasons why you don't like the other shots is exactly what went through my mind when I saw the layout. :D

Nice Post!

Actually Rod, that is not the 7ft. table. It does not look like that. You may have made your layout on the 7ft. table but all of the tables including the 5X10 billiard table post up on this site as the standard 9ft. WEI table. You may have found a way to post a layout finally. Here's the 7ft. table on our site. It's our 9ft. table but you see the balls are not racked correctly. Apparently we can post layouts using it. Good job Rod.

Here's how the 3C table comes out on our site.

Here's the link to the 3C table that I posted.

Damn Rod, you sure do come up with some tough positions. Did your opponent need both balls?

Don't try to be a hero here. Just play a simple safety and then fight for the last ball.

You could knock the 10 in with a billiard off the 13 sending the 13 up table, but that shot doesn't look like it's on. I'd go rail first into the 10 swinging whitey 3 rails around leaving it on his long rail about the 2nd diamond down from the side pocket.

Hey the WEI table is working again. HOORAY for the WEI!!!

Rod, I just plain don't see much to do from here if he needs 2. Maybe just a shot like this.

Dennis and ALL. that's what I tried to do, I shot pocket speed and although the table is fairly level it either rolled off or hit a piece of chalk or I had some bad luck (about time) and I missed the ball completely. Thinking about the shot later I decided I should've used the shot Frank A and Dud and Blackeee liked. If you miss the billiard altogether you opponent may not get out if you've left the 13 ball close to the end rail. If either of Frank A's senario come to pass you'll be fine.
Thanks for the opinions. :)

Frank's

Frank's

While you could lose it all here, shooting Franks shot. You could lose it all with almost anything else also. With Franks shot you can gain the move, with hopes of at least staying alive even if you scratch off behind it or miss it entirely.

Beard

you cant always "pass" with the hand youre dealt

I like the shot you chose over all other shots. As long as you're confident in the roll of the table you shot the correct shot, anything else would be dogging it, in my opinion.
