I'm thinking make the 3 for him by hitting rail first from the top side, to send the cue ball over to the side rail on my side of the table. That appears to me to leave awkward banks at best for Bartram and we are battling with a 7-6 advantage. I would not want to come off the hill by following the 3 in.
Side rail first with speed and left hand english, pocket his ball and bring the cue ball four rails to the head rail.
