Koud's first axiom of one pocket: there is always at any time in any game of one pocket a best shot for the incoming player.

danny diliberto once told me "the shot should suggest itself". think about that when you are trying to force a shot that just ain't there.

A defensive shot is just as good, if not better than an offensive shot...

Always look for a way to make a two way shot...

Just because you have made that simple shot a million times... doesn't mean you don't need to concentrate harder to make it this time...

Slow down...look at the possibilities and probabilities of each shot...
