I never knew that Hatch was a strong banks player. Great 9-baller.

I hope Ike and JB take care of their guys. It's time for Lunda and the Ruskie to move along to their one-pocket matches...;)

I'm impressed by Kiamco. His 1P game has really come up, and now it's obvious that he's putting in some time on his bank pool game as well!

I think the key here is all these top players strike the ball with precision along with cue ball control. One of the keys to playing good banks. Watch Dennis O sometime. Very precise when playing banks and hitting the ball. I think it was last year he was playing the top banker here and drilled him. Eddie said when he was done every time Dennis missed he left him on the rail..lol

Skyler told me a few months ago Billy banks a lot better than him. That's saying something.
I'm pulling for Larry Nevel

Not so fast Doc - "youth will be served" - young Evan Lunda knocks J.B. out of the banks

My god that was a brutal loss by Nevel. Biggest come apart by a player you will probably ever see in a final . Up 2-0 up 4-0 in ball count and scratches then totally falls apart:sorry

Busty actually owed a ball and Larry needed one. Great comeback by Francisco and tough loss for Nevel.

I guess i saw a lot of mental mistakes i've made in that match John. Needing just one ball to win with a big lead and then he let up playing half lag safes on straightbacks, let up on his stroke on more than several shots, fired a ball cross side way too hard shortening it too much... Shooting wrong shots to sell out balls. Jacking up on that ball and scratching in the corner, playing not well thought out safeties etc etc. He just mentally broke down. Its happened to me many times and as a amateur so i feel his pain....lol

Larry has had some attitude challenges in the past (I can relate). He'd had such a great tournament, it's too bad he couldn't have held it together for another few minutes...:( Kudos to Ike as well for getting right near the top!
