This old dog does not mind learning new tricks.

I play in a monthly one pocket tournament against the best Northern California has to offer next Saturday. Usually have to get by Raphael Martinez, Billy Palmer and half a dozen right under their speed. The tournament usually last 12/14 hours and if I get near the end I am usually dead on my feet.

My secret weapon will be a flask with a little Jack to mix with a coke to liven up the senses. I will have to work my way up to Yukon Jack.

Good luck. I quit drinking whisky almost 30 years ago when I had a flat tire and changed the wrong one.

It is a manly drink one has to edge into slowly. When the Jack doesn't work anymore I will give it a try.

I believe Dick was a brandy man in his younger days, so even he took his time getting into Yukon.

I remember when I was traveling with Pucket.

At the Stardust he took a drink to settle HIS nerves.
Didn't do any good.

I would never take a drink when I was playing.
Not if I wanted to win.
