I'm reading on AzB that Chicago's Dave Bond, host of the American Billiard Radio podcast and keeper of the Chicago Billiard Museum ("Mr.Bond" on AzB) passed away.

I didn't know him personally, but by all accounts he was a tireless billiards historian and advocate - and pretty young (under 50 I think).

Yes, very sad indeed. Never met him but I enjoyed listening to his podcasts. Should be interesting to learn what happened, but he will be missed for sure no matter what.

He was one of our important "keepers of history" -- that is a tough loss for the pool world, but even more difficult for his family and loved ones of course.
