SVB 3-0 Efren Neither one played great. Eren was down 0-2, 7--1 in the third game and almost pulled it out. Not to be SVB on stage to repeat as one pocket and all around champion. Live coverage to follow.:sorry

Last match of the DCC for one pocket Joey Gray and SVB. both have one loss. this is it. A few minutes left to starting time. Full house in the TV area.

Grey breaks and leaves a choice of shots. SVBpauses, looks over the table and back cuts the nine into his pocket. He has shape on two straight ins. 10 first, cut on the two and knocks in five ball hanger for Grey. SVB misses one ball cut and leaves a fairly easy shot for ball number two with shape. Five ball with shape for the 15. All the balls are set towards his hole. He should get out. He strokes the balls in nice and smooth. Eight and out. One mistake by Shane and it's Grey 1-0. SVB break.

Shane breaks. Grey has a good shot on the five cross corner or a safety. Shoots a two ball safety and the five rolls up for a shot for Shane. He could get at least three. SVB lags 15 in with bank shape on the four. This will be a position shot. He shots the six for position but leaves a bank on the six. Grey shoots six to his hole. Shane kicks it out softly. two railer on the nine puts Shane in a hole. safety for Shane. Bank safety for Grey sticking Shane again. Shane has an answer for all of Greys aggressive shooting. Deliberate scratch by Grey that wasnt necessary, he could have gone off the eight. Shane is lining up a twist shot on the three. looks like a double kiss. STRAIGHT IN THE HOLE WITH SHAPE ON THE SEVEN. Shane shoots the combo and makes one pocket look easy. Shane five zip. Gray has three balls tied up blocking his hole. Gray makes difficult cut with a ball in Shane's hole. SVB cuts in a back cut and runs the three out he needs. One to one.

Game three. We finally are getting a good show for the one pocket. The games this year on the TV are not as good as last years. gray braks and another ball pops out in Shane's side. SVB shoots "dead" combo that doesn't go. Joey should get eight from this. The balls are broken out and with his skill level, two to one. Instead of getting out, he stops a four. Makes a ball in Shane's side and also leaves him shape. Shane makes the eight and has three more with shape on the one. Five ball next. Shane makes the cut on the five and nearly scratches off the 12. He has a shot on the twelve for seven, but.........Safety play for a few shots. Joey could steal a kick. He wants more than one. Six to four, SVB. Safety, position play. The balls are laying good for Joey if Shane makes a mental error. critical shot here with all the balls down by Grays hole. Still six, four. Shane is moving well, getting the balls away from the hole. Grey shoots a long rail bank leaving Shane a croos corner which he makes. All the banks are up table. Grey shoots what I would consider a wild shoot leaving Shane a difficult shot. he shoots it pocket speed and barely misses the scratch. Shane wins. Two to one.

Shane is in control. Up two to one and breaking. This is the first break that the end ball doesn't break out. Grey is locked up in a trap with the balls laying well for Shane. deliberate scratch for Joey. The rules here are three fouls is a game. Each has a deliberate scratch. Joey on two. SVB has locked Joey up again. Joey shoots a bank, I should say fires a bank and draws the cue behind the other balls. Joey makes an error and leaves a combo two feet from the hole. This could be five or six. Eight six combo goes in with a shot on the eight with shape. Run of four so far. Three ball combo for five and and open pack for the out. Six, seven for seven and the one for the out. Shane wins again!!!!
