Watching a youtube match tonite from the 2016 All Japan tournament. Francisco Bustamante and a Japanese player. Django broke the rack and made the 3 ball and went and sat down. The other guy went to the table and shot, and the game was completed without either realizing what had happened. If you go to watch it, it was about game sixteen, give or take.

Suppose the mistake had been discovered, somewhere along the way. What then?

i am assuming he made it in his pocket
if thats correct i think it makes sense to add the ball to his score
if it went in a neutral pocket then it would be the snooze you lose or not rules

My guess is that the game would be voided, and Bustamante would break again. I'm surprised that it went undetected. Seems like a TV match would have been refereed.

I havent watched but it was probably not a "legal" break.:confused:

There are some strange rules to "fix" the break:rolleyes:
