6 or No-Count, Playing "Quad"

Here's a layout that I remember from todays matchup with "Quad". I'm playing him 6 or no-count and he goes to 3. I was up 6 games to 5 at this point and was in quite a bit of trouble(for a cheap game). I did get out from here but I think I had to get lucky a couple of times as I did not play as good as I should have.

I am going to swing at it and bank the 15 with low left at my pocket, which is bigger with the ball by it. I might even get lucky and get safe under the two with the cue ball.

I am not going to go down playing safe in this spot, even though there are options to hide him from the ball near his hole.

You did what I figured you'd do. Can't leave that 2 ball there against a sucker. Make him earn it or shit it in somehow, which the suckers are more likely to do.

Since he won 6 games to my 7 today I'm thinking about making him go to 4, he is almost stealing after all. As my little Puerto Rican friend Miami used to say "I can't win like that". And I of course always replied "I don't want you to win".

That reminds me of Mexican Phil, up in Cochran's. Phil played real good 1P.

Whenever I tried to match up with him... He would say, in his very latino accent... "I can' play"...He was trying to say, "I can't play",
but he just couldn't finish with the "t"
So I would say..."I know you CAN play...to which he would say..."No, No, you don' savvy... I really can' play". To which I'd say again,
"I know you really....oh well, you get the drift.

It kept the railbug's in stitches.

Keeping the railbugs in stitches is what it's all about. Miami also had a unique way of calling "heads" or "tails" when we flipped for the first break. He would kind of mumble "hadils" or something else that you could not understand. Then, no matter what the coin landed on, he would claim to have called it correctly. I had to put my hand over the coin many times(on the table) and clarify what he was calling.
