I would bank the 5 also, but I think I would draw the cb up near the 6. I don't want to risk leaving a bank on either the 15 or the 4. I might drive the 5 uptable and back, just past the side pocket.

I think i would 2 rail the 5 for my hole or into the ball by my side pocket with a little bottom left english and stun the cueball to the side rail and the down behind the 8 ball
P.S. the original question was what would I do in this situation? Well if i was there when this match was about to begin i would of bet on Dave

I also like 2 rail the 5 and draw spin into the rack.
I dont think he can cue the cueball with enough right english to spin off the side rail toward the stack. Thats why i said cue it with left english and try to spin down behind the 8 ball

I might one rail the 13 and get my cue ball over to the side rail below the chalk, on those buckets I might make the ball.

Z the 5 back towards your hole and use draw/right to get the CB onto his side of the stack.

Banks, V-Man was close but you called it all the way to the pocket, that's what BI did and he made it.

Here he is sizing it up:

BI1.Jpeg

Here the 5 is on the way to the headrail:

BI2.Jpeg

Here is where it hits the rail:

BI3.Jpeg

A little leg kick to help it go past the ball by the side:

BI4.Jpeg

And satisfaction as it's falling into the pocket:

BI5.Jpeg

A very nice shot Mr. Bill:)
