I learned to play pool on a Valley bar table (10 years of age) and later (18 years of age) on a 9 foot Brunswick Gold Crown. I've always loved the game. Worked 40 years at a job while playing irregularly but always trying to improve and compete. Then 4 years ago, I retired and immediately went back to playing pool every day. I prefer the pool game of one pocket to the other pool games because of the strategies that must be weighed before selecting a shot such as ball counts, opponents' weaknesses.
