I'll take a stab at this one... can't tell by the picture but if the angle is there to play the 15 off of the 9 and leave the cue ball on top of the stack, that would be my shot for sure. If not, I would bank the 8 ball and try to leave Efren straight in by the top corner pocket, daring him to shoot the 1 ball.

Cheers,
Andy

Oh, boy! I can never resist these good ol' 45 degree two-railers. Pocket speed and leave the cb on the short rail. I don't think Efren will be tempted to go after the 1 ball. Go 'head JJ! :) (I'm assuming the 15 won't go)

I like bumping that 1 past the 9 and using the stack to block him from the 4 and 1 (which hopefully got over close to the side rail).

This shot would be my choice providing the angle is right for the shot, but Rod's shot is a close 2nd along with Vapro's 2 railer. I'm sure as the game progresses the'll be some very interesting situations.

with photos its hard to judge as we all know ... but ANdrod is your shot close to a double kiss? maybe not ... to draw the Q down spinning it (is what I like most of your shot)
Tyler I like your shot! As for me i think i'd wimp out here and not do anything too offensive here. So I would go with a variation to Tyler's and if the 1 ball were 2 inches further from the rail ( I might kick at it also ).

Wait a second, forget the kick ... to bank at it is better.

so jeremy 2 railed into the stack and gave up the stripe which efren made
the rest of the game was sloppy and jeremy ultimately won that game

if the gap were large enought and i didnt think i would sell out a ball to efren id look to bank the 1 INTO the stack and stick the cue ball

I don't understand the stuff people do sometimes. Maybe it's all perspective... if you have kicked a lot like that and been successful, I guess you are more apt to go for it.

I never kick like that, and never will (i'd be way too nervous to "let it go"). I'm sure it is just because people kick better than me, ha.

Tony, there is no kiss if you can reach the shot. The spin is what takes the CB back not draw. Hitting down on the CB is what turns the 8 ball toward your pocket. :)
