For any One Pocket Player that lives within five hundred miles of the Wisconsin Dells, you're not gonna want to miss this.......

(From AZ Billiards:

At Ho-Chunk Casino Wisconsin Dells. Played on 9 ft. Diamond Tables. taking entries untill the day of the event. $2,500 added garaunteed. race to 3. Double Elimination. $130 entry. $25 goes to green fees. All are welcome. for details or to reserve a spot go to www.bcwpool.com

Gabe Owen will be there to give a 5 hour one pocket clinic Sunday the 27th.

....There is also a big table nine ball event with 4K added and a big table eight ball event with 2.5K added.

This should be easy pluckings for serious players, as there are only a few decent players left in Wisconsin. Its a bartable state with a capital "B" so come and get the ez money!!!

Will the much hearlded Chicago One Pocket Players prove their prowess against the weak Wisconsin players at the Ho-Chunk next weekend??

Ususally, they just brag how good they are, but never leave the Windy City

(Just tryin to make a friendly dig to generate a response)

Cruncher, they travel down to Louisville to play, which is quite a little ride for those old duffs. Wisconsin would be a lot closer to Chicago, right?;)

Doc & #Cruncher,

I'm sure Chi-Town will be well represented. It's 296 miles from Chicago to Louisville and only 208 miles, at most, from Chicago to Wisconsin Dells.

Cowboy Dennis,

Will you be making the trek over to play in the 1 hole event? Or have you heard if any of the Detroit players will be coming over. I would guess it to be a good 8 hour drive, but I will leave that to the cartographer. :)

#Cruncher,

Even if I could see well enough to play the speed that I should play, I would not go to a tournament. They just don't do it for me, never have.

I wouldn't know about any other players in this area, I haven't been in a real poolroom in over 6 years nor do I have contact with any players, except for two close friends.

Almost filled!

Almost filled!

According to the tournament director there are only a handful of spots left for the one-pocket event since its capped at 32. :)

If you haven't sent in an entry and were just planning on signing up at the tourney, you had better call or e-mail the td instead. His info is at Bcwpool.com.

Still haven't seen anything about the One Pocket Ghost materializing in the Dells???
