Just saw this posted from this year's derby, haven't watched it so I don't know who won yet :)

Looks like Brumback won 4 to1, Piggys best days in my mind were about 15 years ago. I see he still came in 3rd.
I remember the year Gary Spaeth came to the tournament and he had just been at the hospital for a chemo treatment I believe.
He won a late round match and lost the lag or flip and Piggy if I remember correctly, ran out every game either from the break or the first shot.

I still say that John delivers the speed of the shot with such consistency that he is tough to beat...eh knows the speed that gives the best results for ball pocketing. Maybe one day...lol

Wow, what a beautiful shot. Went in like radar, and snow was in no-man's land if it missed. I don't know if top bankers practice those types of side pocket shots or not, but he sure aced it. Bille woulda made it too. He practices all them shots...

Thanks doc but John makes them first try...I do after 2 or 3 tries...it’s why he is a champion and I am still a solid d player.
