Freddy was a helluva guy. I really liked him. He might well have already started a 'beat list'. I would personally like to think him and and Jose Dick McMorran are getting along but that might be too big of an ask.

Freddy left a big hole in this site when he passed on. He had a great sense of humor, and was the instigator in many fun discussions we had here. At 81 he'd still be teeing it up at the bank pool tournament at the DCC!

Yes, Freddy was a huge loss for One Pocket, Banks, onepocket.org and our HOF. His old school story telling seemed like a never ending well!

The book is not only encyclopedic, with commentary on most "hustlers", but it's in Freddy's inimitable style, which makes for a lot of laughs.

Freddy sent that paperback version out to people who had pre-ordered with an apology for it being a wait for the hardcover. Didn't charge anything for it. I gave mine away when the hardback showed up. The rat-weasel ingrate I gave it to sold it.
