I am thrilled to say that i'm getting better. I have been experiencing severe pain with both hips for the past 7 weeks, so much that I thought my surgery was a failure. I went as far as making an appointment with the worlds leading spine specialist in Germany, purchased my tickets and was committed to have more surgery if needed. About a week ago my pain started to lessen and today I am almost 90% pain free in my hip area. I am going to start to practice playing pool again, but not until I return from my vacation in Europe. Since I will not need to see Dr. Zeegers in Germany I am taking my girlfriend for a three week vacation to Europe. We already have the tickets, why not? Yippee yi o Or somethng like that.

Billy,
I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. All the VA wants to do for me in put me on stronger pain meds. I feel a little better when I take them but I'm also concerned that I'm doing too much as a result of taking them possibly doing more harm. It is encouraging to hear that your surgery went well since I'd pretty much decided that even if the VA wanted to operate I would probably decline. Maybe I can reconsider that resolve. Hope you enjoy your vacation in Europe. Don't tell Danny, he'll get jealous. lol

I had surgery on my neck and the operation went really well. Then the nerves running from my neck to my back went on a tantrum for eight years. I was on Fentnyl patches, oxy, and norco. After a few years of this I was in more pain than ever. I saw a pain management specialist who put me on Buprenorprine. Ask your doctor for it. Much better pain relief and io doesn't mess with anything but your back receptors.

Hey Billy,

That is great news- I was getting worried about your back and was really hoping that time could help things out.

Now you get to go to Germany and all.

Amsterdam is close by - I think. Hell everything is close in Europe.

Please have a safe and enjoyable time.

I would like to thank every one for their interest and support, and yes I will try to enjoy myself in Europe. I hope my hips can hold out because I know I will be walking a lot.

By the way, I hope all you suckers (especially in Chicago) have a nice summer.;)

Great news, Billy. My wife and I just came back from two weeks in Italy and Greece, and other than a brutal exchange rate on the Euro, everything else was great: the sites, strolling through little towns, traveling by train, the food, the wine (really never had a bad meal), and the beaches. You'll have a ball.

Do not miss the veal in Germany -- with the "home fries." And of course, Oxtail soup. Not at all what you would think. If you could see it, you would eat it.

Bring me back something.

The after 8 ice cream at a little shop down in the town square is great... besides the heifevisson beer...

Billy this is artie wishing you a well surgury. I didnt want you to think I forgot you.

When you get done with youre surgery you will be a healthy American again.

And leave all youre aks and pains in Germany. You always make wise choices.

And pick out the best people for whatever situation comes up.

Enjoy youre time in Germany. And if you have some spair time learn a little German.

Youre good with book stuff get a translation book In American to German. You will be surprised how fast you learn some words.

Iys all about you and what you want too do with youre time. You can make it a great learning experience.

And again I hope that the surgery will be a succes. Because I am looking forward to playing John Henderson our partner game.

And one off Hitlers favorite sayings was Deutchland uber alles. That means germany above everything.

And the have good Venier Schnetzel and Souer Krut. Blib Gaysunt. That meas stay healthy.

And dont forget too get a pair off lLadder Hosen. Machs gut. That means Nake it good.

See you when you get back too America. And dont fall in love with Germany because you might end up staying thier.

You never no in life what changes can do and bring. Lots off succes on all youre pain.

And you are a winner and you will come out a winner. I belive in you. You are a good man.
