I watched a pre-recorded 10 ball match last night on Xtremepoolchallange between Gabe Owen and some guy I didn't know. Gabe looked very healthy and they asked him in an interview what had happened to him that had caused him to be away from the game for awhile. He said he had tried to break up a dog fight and received a severe dog bite for his efforts. It had resulted in a year and a half convalescence that he was 95 % over. I had thought it was something much more pernicious than this and maybe this is just a cover story. I will believe the best and either way it is great to see him back looking like himself.
