i believe diamond when they tell you that "blue label" rails all have the manufactured same/improved angle vs original red label (i've had both tops)
but there are also certainly other considerations.....
-balls, cue ball
-cloth (simonis, andy, predator, etc.)
-cloth wear, condition (new, broke in, needs replaced, any variables in between....)
-rail rubber (artemis, ridgeback)
-single slate vs three piece slate
-pocket construction (regular with rail facing, extra rail facing, shimmed with rail facing, shimmed with no rail facing, etc....)
-environmental conditions
-upkeep and upkeep methods (table cleaning, ball cleaning)
-leveling system
-craftsmanship/attention to detail of the mechanic (or the mechanic(s) that follows him, or vice-versa)
-surface table sits on
start combinging all that and there are exponential variables......
