1hole - I always play if a player moves one ball via incidental contact the opponent has the option to move it back. If more than one ball is moved it’s a foul. Q: in the latter instance do the balls get moved back?

you know, if you want to be liked and get action in a poolroom, just tell him to move them back where they were and dont worry about it.
the long term benefit to not being a picky nit gambler is much more than winning a point of contention or getting a ball.

It’s here in our recently updated official rules — covered in section 6. 😀


But the short answer is it is usually the opponent has the option to move them back or leave them — assuming they are considered “restorable”.
