I know this thread is a few weeks old but I'd just like to give my 2 cents..

Barring JB from these tournaments is BS! Many of us really enjoy playing against elite players.. From the numbers, it looks like many of us feel this way.

From the first tourney that Truman had at Michaels, to the most current one, players playing dropped from well over 50 down to only 18 this past time.

I talked to Michael at the DCC and expressed my feelings and he said I was not alone.

JB is a helluva guy and he should NOT be banned IMHO..

The problem is that in Cincinnati, most of the players are NITS! They won't play in a tournament that has better players than themselves. We had the same trouble when Gary was alive. When Gary and I went to a local tourney, we'd have to time it so we got there just as the tourney was starting. If we arrived early, half of the players would not sign up. Often we had people asking for their entry's back as soon as we arrived. Damn nits should realize that it benefited them to play against better players, but all they could think about was their $5 entry fee!
